The new Board will take on, as its first major project, the organizing of the 1st Asia-Pacific Education Summit that will be held on December 6-8, 2012. This early, plans are afoot to invite as many as 500 foreign and local delegates to participate in the summit. However, CBE’s new Board, headed by Mr. Tarayao, is optimistic that with the members’ perpetual support and the partners’ continued and shared vision of “Creating Empowered Learning Communities”, the Education Summit, and future projects under the new leadership, will be a portent of more fruitful and successful events to come in the coming years.
